The news about the neutral zone turning into the Moonlight Pack spread quickly. Within that area, some cheered while others resisted.
I had anticipated this outcome. Those cheering sought a stable place to live without discrimination and harassment, while those resisting were likely troublemakers who couldn't dominate the region once a new pack was established.
It seemed that even without Leah, establishing a pack was a challenging and lengthy process.
Three days later, Aki delivered news that the resistance was growing stronger. Recent rumors not only involved the kidnapping of human teenagers but also claimed that I had bound humans as labor in preparation for building the pack. They even said that there were more than one human in my estate.
Hearing this, I couldn't help but scoff repeatedly. Besides Leah, I couldn't think of anyone else who would exaggerate things like this.
