"Karina, the wizard severed ties with Anna before his death, but he was proud of you," Anton said after a brief silence.
Karina remained silent, still sobbing continuously. Anton and I exchanged a glance, realizing that we could only wait for her to calm down on her own.
After a short while, Karina took out a tissue to wipe away her tears. "All of this trouble was caused by my sister. It's not others' fault. Before leaving, my master must have been especially disappointed in my sister. I'm sorry; she has brought you a lot of trouble."
Karina gestured to bow towards me, and I quickly moved to support her. "What are you doing? Anna's mistakes, do we have to accept your apology? But you understand, this puts our minds at ease to some extent. Otherwise, if the time comes for Anna to face the consequences of her actions, we might worry about your choices."
