I glanced at the compass in my hand, and the direction it pointed was the same as the extension of the main road. Seeing that he had already figured it out, I didn't say anything more. I put away the compass and started walking back. "There's no time to lose. Let's hit the road. The sooner we arrive, the less suffering Ellie will have to endure."
Since Ellie disappeared until now, I haven't sensed any emotional fluctuations from her, and I don't know how she is right now. Although the sensed state is positive, there is a subtle unease in my heart.
