Hart laughed again. He took a puff before casually throwing the cigarette butt to the floor and grounding it with the tip of his shoe. A different emotion lingered in his eyes before he returned to calmness. "She's smart to only tell me her name. I had also asked my Beta to investigate her but found nothing. It's like she disappeared from the world. Don't you think it's strange?"
Sounds like he hit a similar dead end as I did. Someone must have deliberately erased traces of her in the city.
"She didn't do anything wrong. Since you've already guessed that she was the she-wolf who ran out of my room that year, you should know that she was chased out because she was pregnant with my child. After all, getting pregnant before marriage will get you kicked out of the pack."
