Still, I had my reservations. How could I rely on his intentions if they would only be short-term? But if Anton was willing to turn over a new leaf, I might just reconsider.
I had Myron and myself to be responsible for after all.
Before Anton arrived, I packed my things and explained the situation to Rowling. Then I sat in the living room and waited for Anton.
"Why only one night?" Rowling sat next to me. She seemed to be particularly happy that I was going to live with Anton. "The sisters won't be coming for a while. You can stay at Anton's place for a few more days to relax. You must be tired after all that has been happening these few days."
I looked at her suspiciously. She seemed to be quite interested in the progress between me and Anton to the extent that she spoke up for him. If it was in the past, Rowling would be pleading with me to do the complete opposite.
