When I heard Mr. Bel say that he supported Kirk, I instantly felt much more at ease. Kirk had won. He had done very well in his competition with Nazan. The most important thing now was to find a way to deal with Nazan's next move.
Mr. Bel's words made Nazan angry out of embarrassment. As expected, he wanted to make a move on Mr. Bel. Fortunately, he was blocked by Kirk in time, and the situation became tense.
David stood not far behind Kirk and beckoned for his men to prepare for defense. I pulled Rowling and Abby along and whispered to them to not get separated.
However, what was the 'promise' that Nazan spoke of? From what Nazan said, it seemed that Mr. Bel had also promised to give Nazan an answer. I carefully connected the past events. Suddenly, a light flashed in my mind and I immediately understood.
