It's hard to say which event had a greater impact on me, but in any case, everything was different from what I expected. My plan was to proceed slowly, but evidently, some people were more impatient than I was.
Is the price of growing up to see some dark things?
At the scene, more than a dozen bodyguards were subdued, and the two elders were caught with no chance of escape. Following my father's wishes, I sent the two of them to prison, along with some evidence of their crimes and their descendants.
I hadn't known exactly what shameful deeds these three elders had committed, but when I saw the various pieces of evidence, it shattered my worldview, one shocking revelation after another.
"It's strange to suddenly clear out the cancer of the family."
My father looked even older, his white hair standing out more. I helped him sit on the sofa, and he spoke.
