"People with guilty consciences tend to act this way; they can't find reasons to refute us." I glanced in the direction outside the door.
"That's true, but their behavior is too irrational. An elder, able to act like this, they indeed have some skills," Karina continued to criticize.
"I think it's because they can't bear to part with the little titles they have!" Rowling also stood up, her eyes filled with disdain. "Look at the oldest among them, looking lively, but it's probably just on the surface."
I looked at Rowling with some surprise. I hadn't noticed anything wrong with that person's body. In fact, I felt that, with good care, he could continue to live for a few more years.
