Leah burst into tears, with only a fleeting trace of imperceptible falseness in her eyes. Her hands began to roam over Xavier, seemingly entirely normal, as if an elder fondly looked at a grown-up junior, feeling nostalgically reminiscent of the past.
However, Xavier tried to evade and retreat several times, only to find Leah closing in step by step. Consequently, Xavier kept retreating, and Leah kept following.
Seeing this scene, I couldn't help but chuckle. No wonder Xavier claimed not to have noticed Leah taking something from him; he was too busy trying to avoid her hands. Where would he find the focus to observe whether Leah was taking his belongings?
"No need to watch this. Leah took the lighter from Xavier, and that's how the fire started," I sneered, recounting the conversation I had with Xavier to Anton.
