[Ellie's P.O.V]
I scanned the crowd and spotted a familiar figure among them—Aki had returned from the estate. The speed of his return made me almost suspect he had flown back.
But at this moment, I couldn't afford to dwell on such thoughts. I just wanted to resolve Leah's issue as quickly as possible. Aki nodded in my direction, indicating that everything was going according to plan. I raised an eyebrow slightly.
Leah continued to repeat her shouted words until a significant number of people gathered around us. She finally stopped, glaring at me with resentment. "Ellie, you caused my nephew to fall into the water, and now he's unconscious. You are the real culprit! Look at this, everyone. This is your new leader, the one you're about to pledge allegiance to. But is she worthy?"
Leah yelled the first half at me and then went on to 'righteously' speak ill of me to everyone. The crowd immediately became agitated, and some started cheering for Leah.
