[Ellie's P.O.V.]
When Mary heard me call her name, she raised her head and stared at my face in confusion. She looked like an old woman, but her eyes were filled with naivety. She said excitedly, "Is there a reward for Mary to tell you, Ellie?"
Mary had called me the same as Kirk would. She treated him as her best friend and liked to imitate him in everything she did.
"Tell me what you know and I'll bring you more lollipops the next time I come."
"That's great, I'll tell you." Mary's face was full of excitement, her eyes narrowed into a line, and her smile was very pure. "Come here, Mary will tell you secretly. If Kirk finds out, he'll be angry."
Mary leaned over to my ear and told me everything that happened to Kirk.
When Kirk came out after changing the bandages, I was already standing at the door waiting for him. I pretended to be normal and asked, "Kirk, how old are you this year?"
