[Ellie's P.O.V]
I subtly smiled, thankful that Xavier didn't hesitate for a moment with his words. Had he shown any uncertainty, I might have instructed Ollie to immediately take Xavier back home. Fortunately, he displayed clarity in his judgment.
Leah widened her eyes, as if she couldn't believe that her once dearest nephew would be so unyielding. However, some wounds were irreparable, and if Xavier forgave Leah too easily, who knows what she might attempt in the future.
"Xavier, you..." Leah was momentarily speechless.
I noticed Ollie had circled the car and came over to report, "Alpha, Luna, two flat tires."
"What?" Even more agitated than us was Xavier. He immediately jumped up upon hearing this and expressed even more disappointment in Leah, saying, "Lady Leah, you've gone too far! Your actions will only delay our journey!"
