[Ellie's P.O.V]
"The blood of the Forsaken is deadly. The chemist, in his quest to destroy all of humanity, couldn't possibly leave a sliver of survival for the living. So, if someone is bitten by a Forsaken, they will die within an hour without an antidote. Before this, the city was plagued by a series of disappearances, but these missing people vanished as if they evaporated from the face of the Earth. When they reappeared, they had become Forsaken, their eyes rolling back in their heads."
Count Andrew's tone wasn't calm at all; it was like he was narrating an unbelievable story yet trying to mask the turmoil in his heart with a composed demeanor. Regardless, his words successfully ignited the desire in all of us present to listen further.
This was closely related to Brian. Count Andrew had a reason for sharing this information, and it wasn't baseless. I even had vague speculations about what might follow.
"My ancestor was one of those Forsaken."
