[Ellie's P.O.V]
"Idiots," I muttered under my breath with a cold laugh, firing at the man who had shouted at us. His eyes widened in disbelief, much like the cowboy's expression when I shot him dead.
Those who talk big here should first assess if they can leave alive. Being Jacob's men, there was no need for us to leave any survivors.
The others, witnessing this, dared not advance a step, trembling in fear.
I quickly shot another one who was trying to escape into a car, leaving a bloom of blood on his back.
"It's flattering that they sent so many just for us," I scoffed. "But they're about to learn our strength, although they won't live to report back." Ellie and I swiftly took down the remaining men.
It was a pity there was no challenge. I had thought the men Brian sent to deal with us would be formidable. It seemed they were freshly recruited into Jacob's ranks.
