[Ellie's [P.O.V.]

After the funeral, I brought Walter to our hotel's office. Panse followed closely behind Walter. For some reason, he seemed to be very concerned.

I asked Walter to sit on the stool in front of me. There were only two stools in the office, so Panse could only stand. However, he still didn't give up. He crossed his arms in front of his chest and didn't move even half a step.

I ignored him and asked Walter, "First, please answer my questions from earlier."

Walter coughed a few times and said in a good-tempered manner, "Then let's get to know each other again." He took off his hat and bowed slightly to me. "Hello, I'm Walter, Edith's lawyer. I called you to discuss Edith's will."

I swallowed my saliva and reached out to him. "Mr. Walter, I'm Ellie. Please speak."

Walter laughed. "About a year ago, Edith came to me and said that she wanted to change her will with the biggest variable being you.
