"Mrs. Ellie is pregnant, weren't you aware?" Karina's tone carried a hint of reproach. "The first three months of pregnancy are crucial. What has she just been through to be so weak? Plus, due to extreme nervousness, there are signs of a miscarriage. It's very dangerous now."
Karina's medicine melted in my mouth, quickly entering my body. I felt a refreshing sensation throughout my body, as if it had washed away some fatigue. However, her words caught both Anton and me off guard.

I really hadn't noticed at all. When I was pregnant with Myron, I often felt uncomfortable and nauseous during the first three months. The night before we set off, I even thought I had gained weight because of good appetite. Now it seemed that there was a little one quietly feasting in my belly.
