"What else do you want to say?" I didn't give Panse a chance to continue his rebuttal. "I'm giving you a chance now. If you miss it, you'll spend the rest of your life in prison with those charges."
The members of the Falcon Gang were still waiting to be dealt with, and we couldn't afford to spend too much time here.
"Don't you understand yet? I thought I made it obvious enough," Panse sneered. "Haven't you always wanted to know how that old wizard died? Well, I'll tell you—it was me. I shot him!"
As Panse spoke, he even seemed somewhat proud, thinking he had done something incredibly admirable.
