It seemed Anton was already preparing.
I had known from the moment we left the city that Ollie would bring people to the forest. Given the time that had passed, they must have already set up an ambush nearby.
It could only be said that they hadn't made a move all this time, allowing these people to relax their guard, thinking only Anton and Kirk found this place. It was too late for them to realize now.
I lowered my head in silence, waiting for his next words. It was clear he intended to use me against Anton and the others. I just waited for his orders, ready to devise a strategy for Anton.
"Ellie, our grand plan has reached a critical moment, and there can be no mistakes! I ordered Carlyle to gather all the werewolves, and you led them to face Anton and his group."
