[Ellie's P.O.V]
They entered the cage one by one, then squatted beside my parents and others, injecting red liquid into their bodies. I wanted to stop them, but I found that I couldn't move at all, not even able to shout.
Helplessly, I started crying, only able to watch my closest people, one by one, go from having bloodshot eyes to gradually becoming numb, and then turning into mutated werewolves, even the children losing their minds.
I couldn't believe it, staring in shock at what was happening before me. Then everything plunged into darkness, with the light shining only on me.
My heart pounded, and as the environment quieted, my heart gradually calmed down. Anton couldn't possibly be absent. When my parents and sister were at the Moon Manor, Anton often stayed there as well. During my time here, I hadn't seen them, so everything I just witnessed was fake.
I looked around, surrounded by darkness, with only a circular light centered around me.
