Anton stepped forward and said to the young man, "Sir, we've heard about this situation and thought of exploring it. If we succeed, it might help others understand what's inside."
The young man, hearing this, regarded us with a strange look, probably thinking that our expedition was a suicide mission. However, he didn't say anything.
Anton then looked around and asked, "Do you happen to know when these people went missing? When we heard about it, it had been quite some time, and we don't know the details."
I furrowed my brows slightly, feeling that Anton had an ulterior motive with his questions. In fact, we had never inquired about how many people had ventured into this desert before. The young man's response was vague.
