His words didn't seem to contain any falsehood, and they matched well with what Carlyle had said before his escape.
"You've had email correspondence with those people. Have you never considered tracing their IP address?" I lowered my gaze and continued questioning him.
Kaz forced a smile and replied, "I did try to investigate the IP address halfway when I considered giving up. However, I found nothing. No location, no people, as if they didn't exist. But how could there be no trace if we're on the same land? There's only one reason, they didn't want to be found."
I remembered when we were at the Stowe Pack, Anton had Carlyle investigate the IP address, and his answer was the same, nothing could be found. However, since Carlyle was confirmed to be working for those people, there was no way they would willingly reveal their location. So, how did they manage to communicate via email but remain so well hidden?
