Upon hearing this, I quickly realized that among the four people present, only Carlyle knew our true identities. Kaz had only seen our faces on surveillance, and he clearly hadn't remembered them.
I thought Carlyle would tell Kaz, but to my surprise, he remained silent and just smirked at us.
At this moment, Anton no longer had any trust in Carlyle, and his gaze was cold.
"I never expected that a beta would instigate his own master to become a fugitive!" Anton coldly exclaimed.
As his words left his lips, Kaz's eyes widened in disbelief as he stared at Anton. He stammered, "Y-you... Are you Alpha Anton?"
Anton didn't respond verbally but silently removed his human disguise. "Open your eyes and take a good look. Who am I really? As for why I'm here, I'm sure you know that very well in your heart."
