"The mayor said that he and his grandson were playing at the park when a group of people forcefully separated them," Carlyle responded.
Forcefully separated? It sounds like it was premeditated, but there's no way Kaz couldn't handle a few people. After all, he was the alpha of the Stowe Pack.
This reason doesn't convince us at all.
"I understand. It must have been difficult for you to make this trip. It's not easy to keep it hidden from the mayor, right?" Anton placed the paper down with a hint of implication and looked at Carlyle.
Carlyle smiled. "I found an opportunity. Coincidentally, this month, I was in charge of cleaning, so I could send people away during that time."
Anton nodded thoughtfully, "So, what do you think we should do next? If we want Kaz to take action, we need to bring his grandson back safely. But at the moment, we know nothing about those people."
