"Wait!" There was a moment of silence on the other end of the phone. Just as Carlyle was about to hang up, Kaz spoke again, "I've thought about it, and what you said makes sense. It's not safe outside right now. You should bring them in, but for safety's sake, you need to send me every detail of their information."
Anton and I were surprised by Kaz's change of heart, but Carlyle's expression darkened. "Mayor, I think it's better to send them away. Bringing them into the Stowe Pack will only increase our management burden."
"It's just two more people; it's not a big deal," Kaz suddenly became generous, and he sounded in a good mood again.
Anton and I both frowned.
