[Ellie's P.O.V]
As we spoke, my mother already had one child in her arms and was gently touching his face. She said, "In this way, our days will be more interesting. With two children around, our home will be livelier."
We all smiled.
After a brief exchange, my mother took the two children back home. Anton and I were in a hurry, so we briefly explained our intentions to my father at the city gate.
Upon hearing that we were on this trip to investigate the mayor's affairs, my father expressed his anger at the mayor's true nature. He said, "This is despicable, an utter disregard for the entire werewolf city!"
Anyone would feel ashamed of the mayor's actions, so we weren't surprised by my father's reaction.
"However, we need to wait for the truth to come out first. We have to gather information, and if Kaz is indeed in cahoots with those people, there might be a lead to their base." Anton said.
