Medical skills? We've had suspicions about that too. If the equipment we saw in his old house was genuinely used by Joseph, he must have been conducting some kind of research. However, medicine encompasses so many fields; it's hard to be certain.
But... what if it was for his wife? Maybe Joseph's wife didn't die from poisoning after all. Perhaps that explanation was just what he wanted the outside world to believe. Maybe, during their reclusive days before her death, she had been severely ill, and he was desperately trying to save her.
"It's a possibility we can't rule out, but as of now, he thinks we don't know anything," Anton pondered. "It's possible he's intentionally keeping things from us."
