"But based on just the photos, I can't draw any further conclusions. The real fascination lies in the on-site investigation, where there are probably corners you haven't captured in photos. Those might hold the hidden clues we need," Newman looked at us intently, awaiting our agreement.
Anton pondered for a moment and then said, "Alright, but let's wait until tomorrow night."
Newman seemed pleased with our decision. "Tomorrow night it is, following your plan!" With that, he got up and left the estate, not saying another word.
I was perplexed. "Why not tonight? Why wait until tomorrow night?"
"Joseph hasn't started making the second leather mask yet," Anton mumbled, avoiding eye contact, lost in thought. "But it should be ready after tomorrow night."
He seemed rather confident about this, even though Joseph had denied any knowledge of us earlier today. Could it be that Joseph was indeed preparing the two leather masks for us?
