This was understandable. Hypnotherapy did not succeed every time. There were always some people with extremely stubborn minds, deeply rooted in their obsessions.
I recalled Orky's death. Could it be that Christian killed him to prevent him from revealing their base and the people there? The more I thought about it, the more likely it seemed.
If that were the case, Christian's comment that Orky was too stupid would have a deeper meaning. Perhaps he believed that Orky wouldn't hold out for long under our pressure and would eventually reveal everything? If that were the case, everything made sense.
"It's okay. If we try a few more times, even the most unyielding heart can be broken, right?" I wasn't worried about it. If he was willing to kill his own comrade Orky, then he must have been confident in his ability to keep secrets. However, what he would reveal when the time came, who could say for sure?
