[Ellie's P.O.V]
One advantage of doing things this way was that we could get information firsthand. Since two people have been brought to our doorstep, it's not a bad idea to meet them in person.
Fortunately, even before their arrival, we had filled every corner of the pack with surveillance, covering some unseen blind spots. And the residence of those two brothers was being simultaneously monitored.
On the first day of watching the surveillance, there was nothing unusual. They stayed indoors, just like they were genuinely afraid of being caught, obediently staying at home like all the other residents.
The first day revealed nothing out of the ordinary, but there would be a day when they would slip up.
I got a call from Yili, who informed me that the number of people requesting entry to the pack at the border had decreased because no one had gone missing in the last couple of days.
