"Well, you've probably figured out the rest, right, Ellie? Let's focus on this household for now."
I was slightly confused, unsure if we should let the law punish the household the mutated werewolf was stalking or protect them regardless?
The more I thought about it, the more I was inclined toward the former. "Since the household has encountered the mutated werewolf before, they should be very worried about the latter, right? Afraid that the mutated werewolf will take revenge on them."
If the household was thinking in that way, then it would be easier for them to cooperate should we offer our protection. But, what if they were also afraid that we'd apprehend them?
Ugh, what a dilemma.
