Anton had upped the patrol capacity at the borders and entrances. So how did this guy get in?
Rowling and I returned in silence, lost in our thoughts about the encounter earlier. I wanted to help Rowling deal with the supplies we just collected but she told me to go to Anton instead. "I know you've been thinking about that guy we saw earlier today. I didn't let you get down to help him because I was worried something would happen to you. Even if you're not worried about yourself, you need to think about the people in your life as well. If that person is fated to receive your help, you will have another chance to meet him and do so next time.
