[Ellie's P.O.V.]
The werewolves had disappeared without warning. Before we could strengthen our defenses, many werewolves had already been captured. Fortunately, these people did not appear without a pattern. Just like before, they disappeared mostly at night, and during the day, it was as if nothing had happened.
After visiting the site of one of the most recent disappearances, Anton and I returned to the hotel. Then, he immediately ordered Ollie to strengthen the patrols around the city at night. He also made sure Ollie added two to three guards at the entrances of the city. We needed more boots on the ground so that they could be mobilized the moment something happened.
Fortunately, we adapted very quickly. In just two or three days, Anton had already contacted the Alpha of the other packs and the security of the entire city had been set up. In the next few days, there would be intermittent news of werewolves going missing, but the number was decreasing.
