[Ellie's P.O.V.]
Kevin leaned over and tapped his fingers on the table rhythmically as his eyebrows knitted together. Kirk and I watched Kevin patiently since we weren't in a hurry.
After a long while, Kevin smiled. "Ms. Ellie, you do have quite a way with words. So tell me, what is this wealth that you have to offer? I may already own many assets, but there's no harm in having more."
I was pleasantly surprised because didn't this mean that Kirk and I had essentially persuaded him?
"Well, of course, it would be a win-win proposition. But you'll have to discuss it with Anton as I'm just passing on a message on his behalf. But rest assured, you will not be disappointed."
Kevin and I locked eyes for a moment. Though there was a depth in his eyes that made him hard to read, I was not intimidated.
