He drove Aidi's car over?! I knew I had left the keys in the car, but it had been so long that I had almost forgotten the exact location.
Anton smiled at me as if he had forgotten about whatever dissatisfaction he felt from last night when I chased him out of my room. He walked over to hold my hand and said to my father, "Father, this is the car my mother left behind. I want to drive this car to Bright Moon Pack. My mother must have wanted to see where Ellie lived."
Anton was silent for a moment, hiding the sadness that lingered momentarily in his eyes. It was quick, but I still caught it.
I was pleasantly surprised by Anton's sudden arrival. I thought he wouldn't come because he was angry. I squeezed Anton's hand and turned to my father. "Father, this car was initially left to me by Anton's mother, but it ended up with Anton by accident. Why don't you let your Beta drive your car back?"
