[Ellie's P.O.V.]
I chuckled. "I feel much better now. You don't have to be so careful." Otherwise, I would really be a porcelain doll.
"You just woke up. Don't you feel weak all over after lying down for so long?" Anton's furrowed eyebrows and frown eventually relaxed, turning into a smile. He carefully helped me up. "You woke up much earlier than I expected."
I smiled bitterly. If there wasn't such a loud noise in my ears, how could I have woken up so early?
I didn't feel weak at all. Instead, I was full of energy. I looked again at the people in the room as Abby came up to me with the child in her arms. "Ellie, my child must have thought that you should wake up, so he decided to call you. But since he doesn't know how to express himself, he can only cry!"
Since Abby said this, I could only helplessly agree.
I didn't really want to blame this child. I had my fair share of experiences raising a child after all.
