"It's working, it's working!" I was overjoyed. And due to my overexcitement, I forgot about my wound and ended up coughing violently.
When Alpha Darren heard this, his eyes finally lit up. His gaze lingered on Ellie for a while before he looked up at me inquisitively. "What's wrong with you? Why are your lips so white? You don't look too good either."
Olly was very nervous about me. The moment I coughed, he quickly came to my side to support me. "Alpha, what's wrong with you?"
I took a deep breath and said, "I'm fine, really. Maybe I haven't rested well these past few days."
I wouldn't tell them that the antidote was nourished by my heart's blood. To save Ellie's life, I would even give up my life. It was all to make up for the debt owed to her and Myron.
Alpha Darren's expression changed a little, "It's been hard on you these past few days, you should go and rest."
