Rowling might believe our words more if we mentioned Ellie's name. But I couldn't stop her from having her doubts. My head felt as if it would explode. Ellie's condition made me anxious but I couldn't afford to abandon my duties to my pack either.
Even Olly said that I had become very irritable, but how could my temper improve like this?
In order to keep watch over Ellie, I brought some official matters over that didn't need to be discussed in person. Although Alpha Darren was also here, I wanted to be there personally for Ellie too. If anything happened, I wanted to be the first to know.
