If she spoke the truth, it would already be within my suspicions. But if she didn't, I would feel terrible for her.
"I'll listen if you're willing to tell me." Even if she condemned me, I wouldn't refute her.
[Ellie's P.O.V.]
I noticed that Anton had returned, but I was busy arranging an office for him. After all, it would not be good for us to be in the same office for a long time. I still wanted to put all of Aidi's favorite things in my office so that I could honor her memory.
I admitted that I missed Aidi, but I couldn't let Anton know that Aidi was his biological mother because I wasn't sure if he could accept an Omega as his mother.
While I wasn't paying attention, Anton went upstairs without saying a word to me. I thought he was tired and wanted to rest, but instead, he entered my room. I only found out because I was on my way to get a few things.
