I smiled as I adjusted the brim of his hat for him. For a moment, it might seem that I was simply being caring toward him. But then, I ordered him to step forward.
The man did not flinch upon hearing my words and stepped out as ordered. I admired his ability to maintain, as well as his determination to continue fooling me.
I moved to stand before him and laughed. "Do you know why I had called only you out?"
"Alpha, no Alpha! I do not know, Alpha!" His voice was loud and clear. If it wasn't for the shrewdness that momentarily flash through his eyes, I might have just been fooled by his acting.
