[Anton's P.O.V.]
The difference between Marsilan and Bandi was that the former had accepted Aidi's death and thus did not care much for the cause. Whatever else she said in our conversation was nothing new. We ended it quickly and Olly led her out.
Based on what the two had told me, I knew for a fact that the coroner was lying. Why? Well, Panse would know best.
But I knew that if I went to Panse so rashly, I would not only not get the information I wanted, but it would also make him more vigilant. If he didn't want anyone to learn of anything, he would have done his best to keep it hidden. I needed to make sure I had all the information necessary before going to Panse. It was the only way to ensure he would not have any wriggle room.
