I was pleasantly surprised to hear this. There had been more progress. Without the slightest doubt, I said, "Alright, just wait for a bit. I'll be ready to leave soon."
Anton must have sent Kirk to get me because he was one of the few people both of us trusted, especially when neither of us could reach the other directly.
Since I was the only one who touched the agreement, I was the only one who was affected by Ant Year. And since it was potent enough to seep through my skin, I had to make sure I put it away safely first.
I folded the document and placed it in the box it came in. Then, I locked it in the cabinet. I had to keep it well since it might be our best evidence.
