I refused to end the conversation this way.
"I'll let her join my pack."
I had been thinking about this for a long time. Ellie was also worried that her identity as a rogue werewolf would damage my reputation. But I made it clear to her that I would let her join Dark Night Pack and stand up for her.
"We are mates because the Moon Goddess had arranged for us to be so. I love my mate and our fate should not be restricted by our identities". I explained after some thought.
Hart's lips were trembling and the hand holding the cigarette was hanging by his side. His eyes were closed as if he was enduring something.
After a long time, Hart opened his eyes and said, "Are you sure you want to save her?"
Hart's eyes were looking elsewhere. I didn't know what he was thinking, but I saw a hint of struggle in his eyes.
