Yili was Ellie's younger sister, so I would try my best to keep my emotions stable.
"You... What did you just say?" Yili's expression told me that she didn't believe me.
"I'm telling the truth. I know that she has suffered a lot because of me, so I want to make it up to her and help her recover. Recently, her body has indeed recovered a lot. If we get married, it will aggravate her pain and make all my efforts go to waste. You have a good relationship with Ellie, so I believe you don't want to see her experience the pain of being betrayed by her mate again, right?"
I didn't tell Yili about Ellie's strange illness. I didn't think Ellie would either. She always silently endured it all by herself, not letting the people around her worry.
