I had been observing Panse's reactions and did not miss the trace of guilt in his eyes. So he was hiding something? When did Panse and Ellie get to know each other? Was it even before the internal fight of Dragon Slaying Gang?
I looked at Panse for a while and flatly refused his request. "That's impossible." I couldn't betray my mate and hurt her again.
"You're really into that she-wolf? She's just a rogue werewolf and doesn't deserve to be our pack's Luna!" Panse seemed to be disappointed. "It was fine if you want to keep having your fun with women, but can you please think about the pack more-"
"I've seriously considered it, Father."
Before he could finish his sentence, I quickly cut him off. Ellie became a rogue werewolf because of me. I couldn't wait to mark her, have her join my pack, and get rid of her status. I would rather do all of these for her instead of agreeing to marry another she-wolf.
