I shot her a series of questions because I just found this entire situation incredulous. If it was true that Madam Garlin had been the leader of the gang since she was young and she had still turned out like this, then she wasn't that much brighter than her sister either. I looked at Madam Kerry and realized that just because they were family, it didn't mean that they were of one mind.
Madam Garlin's entire body trembled, her face gradually contorting, but she still forced herself to remain calm and asked me, "So, Madam Ellie is determined to deny it?"
"Why don't you admit to what you've done?" I laughed. "You've done two things to my hotel, and with the fire you started, that would make it three. It's not too much to take it that I'm returning the favor by setting fire to your property, right?" I raised my eyebrows and looked at them with great interest.
