[Ellie's P.O.V.]
The hangover gave me a splitting headache. It had been a long time since I had drunk to my heart's content. The vague memories of last night were about to explode in my mind.
The first thing I did was look for my son. I heaved a sigh of relief when I saw him sleeping peacefully in the crib next to me.
I vaguely remembered that while Myron was asleep, Edith and I started drinking a little wine. The more we talked, the more we drank. I still felt the discomfort from the hangover.
Edith and I felt that we should have met earlier. Once we started talking, we couldn't stop. I got so drunk I couldn't control my words.
I told her that because I was pregnant, my father asked me to choose between my parents and my son. I chose my son, so I was forced to leave the home I had lived in since I was young.
