I would always be busy for a while after coming back from Ellie's place, which was why I didn't go to Moon Manor every day. But this time, more than a week had passed, and I still hadn't gone.
I'd been brooding over the fact that Ellie already had a child. I thought that as long as she was my mate, I didn't care about her status. But I couldn't accept my mate betraying me and having someone else's child.
These past few days, Hart had been asking me to bring him to see Ellie to teach her a lesson. I kept telling him to wait, but I also knew it wasn't a good idea to drag things out for so long.
I was caught in a dilemma.
"Anton, when are you going to bring me to see that she-wolf?" Hart barged into my office again. "Are you still thinking about her already having a child? What if it's a coincidence? There are so many people in the world, but no one can guarantee that there are no two people with the same name."
