[Ellie's P.O.V.]
I tightened my grip on the broom. Myron must have inherited his observation skills from Anton. Did I raise a miniature version of Anton?
I laughed at this thought. How interesting. I had forgotten that I was still with Anton.
"What are you laughing at?" Anton looked at me in confusion.
"It's nothing," I came back to my senses and shook my head, taking the opportunity to break free from his grasp.
"Ellie, don't even think about lying to me. This matter concerns the safety of the entire city, so I hope you can tell me the truth." Anton was a little worried when he saw that I didn't say much. His brows furrowed over his melancholic eyes.
I paused and looked at him. What Anton said made sense. In recent times, most of the missing people were Omega and rogue werewolves. If the public did not have the means to protect themselves, they would easily fall prey.
