[Ellie's P.O.V.]
Myron's small brows furrowed as he weighed his options.
I looked at him expectantly, and sure enough, he agreed, "Alright, then come home soon, Mom. I'll wait for you at home."
Rowling nudged Daisy to bring Myron out to play.
It wasn't until the two of them were out of sight that Rowling turned to look at me. "Ellie, you must be careful when you run. Recently, rumors have been going around saying that many Omega and rogue werewolves have gone missing at the edge of the reserve."
I'd occasionally heard that people had been missing in recent months, but there had been no news media reporting on this matter. They probably didn't care about the lives of Omega and rogue werewolves - the city was indifferent.
I nodded. "I'll protect myself. If I don't come back in two hours, send someone to find me."
"Got it." Rowling agreed. "Be careful."
As long as I didn't go near the edge of the reserve, nothing should happen to me.
