The reason this school had always been so simple and rusty was that the principal didn't have more funds to renovate it. I had the assets so I wouldn't think that the principal would refuse my offer.
I was looking forward to seeing a happy expression on the principal's face because I had learned some time ago that this school took in students from poor families, which was one of the reasons the school was in ruins.
As such, Myron and Daisy did not fit the usual demographic at the school. Once the school was renovated, it might be able to attract more wealthy families and there would be a larger diversity of students.
However, the principal looked troubled instead. "Madam, thank you for your kindness, but someone has already offered to buy this school. I'm sorry but I can't agree to your conditions."
